š From Curiosity to Transformation: Why Donāt More People Care About Climate Change?
Five years ago, I found myself wondering: Why do so many people seem indifferent to climate change? How can we inspire them to care?
These questions led me to dedicate my Masterās thesis to exploring the development of sustainable awareness in our life stories. Today, I understand how childhood care experiences, economic and social backgrounds, and even gender differences shape our approaches to sustainability, solutions, and leadership styles.
šæ During my research, I uncovered something profound: Nature is treated symbolically like women in our society. Masculine traits are often valued more than feminine ones, which influences how we treat the environment. Women, too, internalize this dynamic, feeling obligated to care for others at the expense of their own energy and emotional resources.
But this isnāt what femininity is truly about.
⨠Empowered femininity is about:
* Receiving and honoring self-worth.
* Setting boundaries for your energy and resources.
* Embracing joyful presence without constant sacrifice.
Itās about breaking free from being an emotional ādumpsterā for othersājust as nature has become a dumping ground for human waste.
Letās change this together. Learn the deeply rooted cultural patterns behind climate change and discover how to:
ā Ecologize awareness in yourself and others.
