Thank you all for your wonderful reactions to yesterdayās video!
Letās talk about the root causes of climate changeānot just in policies or industries but within our social relationships, identities, and internalized power systems. Addressing these requires self-reflectionāa key practice, especially for middle classes in post-industrialized countries.
For instance, Iām a white, middle-class woman from Central Europe. While I face disadvantages tied to my gender and young age, I also benefit from many privileges, such as my education, background, and societal standing. These privileges shape my experiences, and they influence how I interact with the worldāand the environment.
Where do you stand in the power system?
Reflecting on this is crucial for understanding how power structures shape environmental awareness and sustainable action.
Thatās why I created the Ecologization of SelfĀ courseāa 13-lesson journey packed with self-reflection exercises, visualizations, and action stepsĀ to help you uncover the connections between climate change, power, and identity.
