Everyone knew exactly where they were headed. Except for me.

I was about to announce the topic of my master’s thesis —

and I still had no idea what I wanted to write about, or even what truly

interested me.

While my classmates built on their bachelor’s theses or

expanded earlier projects, the only thing I knew was:

I didn’t want to research anything I had focused on up until then.

Then I stumbled across an article about ecological feminism

— exploring how especially young, educated women tend to engage deeply with

sustainability.

Something sparked inside me. I felt a deep connection to the topic.

But I still didn’t know: What should I actually research?

The journey to finding my final topic wasn’t straightforward

or fast.

Even after I started writing, my supervisor admitted she was skeptical about

applying such a theoretical framework.

But you know what?

In the end, she offered me a position as her assistant — because of the depth

and originality of my master’s thesis.

No one was deeper into the topic than I was.

What I’ve learned:

I'm not the fastest.

I'm not chasing power or quick wins.

My beginnings are slooow.

But the ending?

That’s where I thrive.

I dive deeper. I link insights. I uncover solutions where others have given up.

💬 What about you?

Does your creativity also slowly brew extraordinary insights and solutions,

surprising everyone else in the end?

I'd love to hear your story in the comments!
